Create free-flowing mixes with AAK fat flakes

AAK fat flakes can be used in the manufacture of packaged soups, sauces, gravies, seasonings and bouillons as well as cake mixes. Fat flakes play an important role in the production of dried foods and are usually added at a rate of 3% to 15% of the total ingredients used.

In terms of food manufacture, flaked fats with high melting points are easier to blend during high-shear mixing without sticking or clumping. During the production of dried foods, fat flakes are more convenient to use than bulk-packaged liquid oils or hard fats and can maintain functionality when used in products with a long shelf life.
